The National Headache Institute recommends peppermint tea for migraines because it can reduce pain and calm your mind, making it especially good if your migraines tend to be triggered by stress or anxiety. Peppermint also contains menthol, which is a natural pain reliever.
Another great tea for stress-related migraine headaches is chamomile. As well as being naturally soothing for the nervous system, chamomile is anti-inflammatory and contains apigenin, a plant-based compound that supports sleep and muscle relaxation.
