About NutraTea
The idea of NutraTea blossomed from a commonality shared by our two founders, brothers Anish and Mikesh. Anish holds an MPharm MSc (master’s in pharmacy and sciences), and Mikesh has a BA in accounting and finance, alongside an ICAS chartered accounting qualification.
Looking at their two backgrounds, you’re probably thinking, what’s the link?
Well, in both professions, they witnessed a similar work culture among their colleagues. Amongst various generations, many colleagues were subject to benign chronic health conditions that impacted their quality of life and caused them to complain about them in detail at work.
Anish and Mikesh also grew up being raised on ancient Ayurvedic values by their father, who encouraged them to use natural remedies to support their mental and physical well-being rather than quick fixes and medications. Both sharing a scientific and logical thought process, they tried to get to the root cause of each colleague’s condition to see if there was a way to treat it naturally. But it wasn’t until they got home from work that they realised that while they worked in different industries, staff shared a similar commonality.
Many colleagues loved to take tea breaks during the day—not just one, but several. Reviewing the existing blends colleagues were consuming, they realised many of the symptoms they were suffering from could be eased if they had the right range of herbs and spices in their diet. With roots in health and wellness spanning generations and their father’s supplements company, they were inspired to create something on their own. Anish and Mikesh merged their professional expertise with the herbal remedies they were raised on.
As a result, Nutratea was born, a functional herbal tea company.
Today, NutraTea offers a range of premium blends and flagship teas uniquely formulated by leading pharmacists and nutritionists to harness the benefits of botanicals and herbs. All herbs and botanicals have been inspired by the herbal remedies Anish and Mikesh were raised on. With deeply personal origins, every tea has a personal touch and is a unique and healthy blend.
What makes NutraTea different?
