NUTRA CLEANSE

This isn’t a tea you’d drink for the pleasure of it. Having said that I quite like it and don’t find it overly bitter as I see mentioned in a number of other reviews, but I’ve been cleansing and taking herbs for many years. My understanding regarding the bitter flavour is that this is part of it’s cleansing nature, and is good for the liver and so I welcome this because I ordered the tea for the ingredients and it’s action on the body. When you find the bitter taste overwhelming, it’s a sign you REALLY need what’s in this tea! We avoid bitter tastes in our culture, and are also overloaded with toxins – so if you’re new to cleansing, you’re going to find it bitter – if you want the benefits, you’re going to have to find a way to get it down you! Alternatively, you could start with dandelion root tea which is a milder flavour but doesn’t offer the full blend of what’s in this tea.

This tea is very difficult to drink because it is very bitter. I use a lot of lemon juice. I drink this cool so I can use a straw to bypass the tongue as much as possible. A BIG BUT….it works. You will lose a lot of water so stay close to facilities. This is NOT a lose weight drink this is for liver detox. You may see the swelling in your upper tummy go down. That’s the liver getting better.

I am ordering this detox tea for the second time. The taste is a bit bitter, but if you combine it with another herbal tea(blueberry, cherries, etc) and instead of 1 cup of water you use 2 cups , you dilute the bitter taste and it is drinkable. The detox effect is extremely good, I was bloated, with digestive problems and constipation. After 2 days, I started to feel great, o gases, no bloating and no constipation!

It really does work wonders. This tea has single handedly solved my bloatyness. I must say it tasted quite bitter at the beginning but now I’m actually enjoying the taste a lot, the licorice, cinnamon and star anise certainly give it a nice aroma.

It works the digestive system but the taste is hard for me to get used to. It leaves a major aftertaste, too, but it works.

I was excited to find and try this cleansing tea because I have a digestive issue caused by medication which is impossible to handle successfully without some intervention. Laxatives, which are the only thing doctors recommend, are harsh and also harmful unless used for a short time period and discontinued. Since I need help continally, I feel grateful that Nutracleanse works well and has so many cleansing properties.

This tea is definitely bitter, even after adding two green tea bags with it, you can still taste the bitterness. However, this tea does work! Be close by a bathroom because your colon will definitely be cleansing! Great for digestive support.

If you drink alcohol often and have liver issues then this tea is for you…had a sticky pain on my liver due to swelling and after 3 weeks of this tea was gone…also no bloating, brilliant.

Nutra Cleanse is my morning tea. It gives me a good feeling as I know it is a positive for health. I make it the night before with one and 3/4 cup boiling water to one tea bag – simmer it on stove for nine minutes. Let it cool, squeeze out bag and dispose, pour into 12 oz mug. Someone posted that the bag can be re-used, but its strength is lost after the initial time on the stove.

Love this tea to regulate my gut, very effective drink it daily with green tea but, one criticism it tastes like perfume so not so into that but the effects are evident and totally worth it.

I was constipated so used this product for this. It tastes foul but does the job a bit too much!!

Slightly bitter taste but with a bit of honey, was really nice! The best thing was the detox effect, felt so much better after drinking it. Highly recommend if you want a tea that helps and works.
