Celebrate National Tea Day on April 21 With NutraTea

Its organisers are calling it ‘the most British day of the year’ – and certainly, our islands’ citizens are well known the world over for liking a cuppa or two, or three…

Hence, the reason, here at NutraTea we’re all really looking forward to National Tea Day on Monday, April 21.

Having been on the go since 2016, this popular annual event is designed to celebrate tea in all its forms – whether that’s black tea, green tea, herbal tea, Rooibos or Oolong etc. So, whether you toast the occasion with your morning cuppa or get a bunch of friends together and head out for Afternoon Tea, it’s certainly worth a celebration in our book.

Incidentally, according to organisers of the Day, 75 per cent of all tea drinkers are female. Who knew?!

Fittingly, this year’s theme for National Tea Day is about recognising the women responsible for much of our lovely tea in the first place – from cultivation to consumption. And the aim of the Day is to get tea drinkers to branch out and try some different tea blends they’ve never even considered before. It’s a great idea, we think, and the best way to find your new favourite.
